How my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among those honoured by Him
How my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among those honoured by Him
What the believing man wishes his people could know is the twofold gift he has received: forgiveness and honour.
He speaks of his good end, yet does not attribute it to some power or entitlement independent of God. With the affectionate words “my Lord”, he connects what has happened to God's grace.
The expression “those honoured” (al-mukramin) points to a high standing before God. The Quran also speaks of honoured angels They say, 'The All-Merciful has taken a child.' Glory be to Him! Rather, they are honoured servants. They do not speak ahead of Him, and they act by His command. and highly honoured believers They will be honoured in gardens., Except for God's sincerely devoted servants. and Various fruits—and they will be honoured..
The man is not named in this Quranic story. His own community did not recognise his worth, but his Lord has placed him among those honoured.
A person's true value is not decided by the judgement or applause of other people.
